Rick R. Rodak
Rick R. Rodak, age 40, of Canton, was suddenly
and prematurely taken from those of us who knew him and loved
him
into the loving arms of the Heavenly Father that he loved so
much on May 26, 2008. Rick was a graduate from Louisville High
School and the University of Akron. He was a wonderful and
loving husband to his precious wife, Heather; a devoted and
loving and proud father to his four beautiful children who loved
him so much, Justin, Zackary, Alek and Hanna. Rick was a son and
brother who was a source of pride and love beyond words. He was
a friend like rare few. Rick's respect and compassion for all
people is a testament to the love and goodness that God puts in
the hearts of only the best. Rick has also touched the lives of
many children through his dedication in coaching. Those of us
who were fortunate enough to know Rick were truly blessed by
God. Today, we futilely grope for words that can only fall far
short to expressing our love for Rick, our appreciation for the
blessing of having had him in our lives, and the horrible grief
and pain that we're feeling. We know he's lovingly looking down
upon each of us from heaven and we look forward to seeing him
again someday. In addition to his wife and children Rick is
survived by his parents, George and Beverly Rodak of Louisville,
OH; brother, Ron (Becky) Rodak, of Mineral City, OH; sisters,
Renee (Peter) Gray of Salisbury, NC; Rhonda (Paul) Conrad of
Orville, OH., Rina (Joe) Ridgway of Fenton, MO., and Robin
Rutledge of Brunswick, OH.; grandmother, Anna Rodak;
father-in-law and mother-inlaw, Bill and Pam Riffle;
sister-in-laws and brother-inlaws, Kelli (Jeff) Joliat, Shelli
(Ed) Saeger and Halli (Troy) Clevenger, all of North Canton, and
many many nieces, nephews aunts, and uncles.
